Gift Ideas

Posted on: 27/11/2020 at 5:10pm

With the festive season looming we have some gift ideas that will bring a smile to the face of any cyclist. These are just a small selection of our winter favourites. In store you’ll find much more with something for every budget.

From energy bar stocking fillers to high end carbon dream bikes that would leave Santa’s sleigh for dust.  Our team are always happy to help with a little advice if you are struggling to find that special something for a cyclist in your life.

….and if you really can’t find what you are looking for, we can offer Summit Cycles Gift Vouchers to any value. The most versatile gift of all, they can be used for anything we sell or any services we offer, have no expiry date and are system recorded so you can’t lose them.

Worried about getting it right?  We can also offer gift receipts if you are worried your purchase isn’t quite right, just ask for one at the till.

So lets not waste any more time and jump right in to our festive favourites….

A warm head is a happy head. For apre-ride or just as cosy and stylish head attire for that cyclist about town a good beanie beats away the chills of on those cold winter mornings. You can never have enough winter headwear options so a good beanie always makes a great gift.

A Christmas cliché maybe but anyone who cycles knows the peril of cold feet and that you can never have enough of these, so socks are always going to be received with a smile by any cyclist worth their salt.

Show someone you care enough to keep them safe and seen. Light technology has moved fast in recent years with new lights getting smaller, more powerful and better value each year so new front or rear bike sparklers will certainly get noticed.

Winter’s chill on cold ears is never fun. Give someone the gift of a warm-headed pleasant journey with a skull cap or head warmer designed to fit neatly under any cycle helmet. Fast wicking thermal or our favourite, merino wool.

Again you can never have too many of these helpful little compact marvels. A toolkit in your pocket. One for the toolbox, one for the car and one for your saddle pack or rear pocket. Those important adjustments and tweeks should always be within reach. An extremely useful item for any cyclists.

It’s a head warmer, skull cap, neck warmer or face covering. The multi-function head tube is a great gift. A versatile and handy garment that we wouldn’t want to be without. Come in a range of patterns in fast wicking stretch performance fabric or merino wool.

We have a wide range of locks always available from simple portable and wearable lock for day to day use up to heavy duty D-locks and chains for home or garage security.

You really can’t go wrong with this one. A Summit Cycles gift voucher can be used for anything we sell or any services we offer including workshop repairs, servicing and bike fitting. They can be any value, have no expiry date and are recorded on our system so even if the voucher receipt gets lost we still have the voucher value logged with the recipients name.
