This is the perfect opportunity to make sure your bike is in tip-top shape for the coming riding season.

UK winter is tough on bikes, even if you don’t ride during the winter the chances are that your bike has been sat in storage over winter and will require a thorough safety check and lube before use. Parts can become seized or rust. Hydraulic suspension and brakes can lose pressure, bolts and fastenings should all be thoroughly checked to to make sure they are correctly secured before use.

Winter riding can mean exposure to grit, mud road salt a lot of moisture and low temperatures. In combination these can cause rapid wear. Winter is always the toughest season on bike parts so its important to check over your whole bike and test everything for safe function. A visible inspection is a good start but there is no substitute for a proper service and safety check by a CYTECH qualified cycle mechanic with access to the best tools and work space.

All our technicians are fully CYTECH accredited and our workshop is well stocked with commonly used parts and spares from all major components brands. CYTECH is the industry standard accreditation for professional cycle mechanics. Using properly accredited and trained staff ensures your bike gets the best possible attention from a skilled and experienced technician. We are ebike specialists and a recognised service centre for Bosch, Shimano, Fazua and Specialized motor systems. Training is updated frequently and our workshop is the best equipped in West Wales.
