Mountain Biking Discovery Day
Posted on: 19/02/2019 at 10:19am
Event Date: Sunday 19th May 2019
Nant yr Arian: Visitor Centre Information | Mountain Bike Trail Information
A day dedicated to Mountain Biking as part of Aberystwyth Cycle Festival.
TRAIL CLOSURES ARE CURRENTLY IN PLACE
There’s good news and bad news. The good news is that we have been informed by NRW that construction of the planned new family/beginner Blue graded trail at Nant yr Arian is now underway. The addition of a more accessible route to the Trail centre will be a huge plus for visitors and the local mountain bike community, allowing families, young people and those new to the sport a gentler option that they can build their skills on.
“And the bad news” we here you say?
The construction work means several trail sections will be closed for our MTB Discovery day this Sunday. You’ll find details of the closures on the map below.
All aspects of the event are planned to go ahead with signposted diversions in place around the closed trail sections ‘Italian Job’ and ‘High as a Kite’.
