New Covid arrangements – January 2021
Posted on: 02/01/2021 at 5:48pm
We are open for business but due to rising Covid-19 levels and our current tier 4 lockdown arrangements mean we are changing the way we work to ensure maximum safety for our customers and staff.
Our staff have been split into two non-overlapping team bubbles as a safeguard. This allows our retail services and workshop to continue and protects essential support services for those dependent on cycle transport.
For further safety we will be running a counter only service that will continue until the Covid alert level is reduced. This means that our store is not open for browsing at this time, however our staff will be happy to assist at counter and bring products to the counter for viewing. In addition to this our team are available via telephone and email and can also now offer appointments via video meeting services Facebook Messenger / Zoom to assist with product selection and support.
Please note the following:
– We are operating a counter service.
– Only one customer is permitted inside the store (at the store counter) at any time. If you are waiting to enter please do so outside the store front while maintaining adequate social distancing.
– Please be aware that with less staff on at any time and a counter only service in operation it may take us a little longer to respond to enquiries.
– Workshop services are operating as usual with the possibility of delays. Booking is absolutely essential, we are unable to take drop-in workshop jobs at this time.
Our staff can be reached via telephone, email, Facebook Messenger or are also now available for online video meeting appointments (Facebook Messenger / Zoom) to assist with purchases and provide product support.
Our opening hours remain Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm – Closed Sunday.
We would again like to thank our customers for their support and patience through this challenging period.
We know the frustration this may cause some of our customers and are aware that it leaves us significantly disadvantaged against online retailers. Knowing this makes us even more grateful than ever for the continued support and positive feedback we receive from our customers. We’ll keep our sights on a more positive future when we can hopefully return to being the0 thriving, social, local bike shop hub that we know our customers want.
