Levo Evolved

L’evo-lution! – Today Specialized unveils the very latest iteration of the Levo platform, an eagerly anticipated evolution of the platform that has set the standard for the modern emtb since its inception. We see three new Levo models, Levo Comp Carbon, Levo Comp Alloy and Levo Base Alloy, all of which see a swathe of new features and technical improvements over their predecessors. The 3 new models all feature the new Turbo Full Power 2.2 motor, including the two new alloy models that bring some great new features and Levo performance to a more accessible price point.

Cast an eye over the bike and the first thing you’ll notice is it’s a mixed wheel. With a 29” front and 27.5” rear. Specialized opted for mixed to accommodate shorter chainstays to create a bike that was sharper and more nimbler handling and yet still capable of delivering some big tire advantage including better roll-over and extra grip for carving corners.

Offering a bump swallowing 150mm of silky smooth RX Tuned suspension delivered by Fox or Rock Shox units (model/size dependent) you can expect a smooth ride with great handling and bags of traction. No surprise really as Levo’s been raising the bar on emtb motor, suspension and all round rideability since its arrival.
