Workshop info

• Stock: We carry a large stock of genuine spare parts, service and support items from key cycle component and drivetrain manufacturers such as Shimano and SRAM.
• Warranties: Our workshop is fully equipped to carry out any warranty check, backup, or support for all of the brands and products we sell.
• Timescales: We try our best to offer a speedy turn-around but as with any workshop, we are busy at times and demand can be difficult to anticipate, so please email, call in, or phone to make a booking and to discuss a quote on the time and cost of your job.
• Costs: All jobs are billed for parts and labour time and the technical difficulty the job involves.
• All bikes must arrive in a clean condition, an additional cleaning fee will be charged if bikes are
• E-Bikes: please check our Workshop Ebike Policy before booking your bike in for any work or service.

Servicing specific info

• Bike service packages are inclusive of labour and general lubricants only and do not include any required parts, specialist lubricants or external services (like external shock and fork servicing). Any items such as these will be in addition to the cost of the planned service level.
• In our Base and Ridge services, bikes with hydraulic disc brakes are charged an additional fee for bleeding/servicing, setup or inspection (please enquire for pricing on your brake system.)

Base (level 1)

Acoustic & e-bikes -  £50.00

Safety check and Preventative Maintenance, minor adjustments to brakes and gears. Check over of all components, and recommendations for additional maintenance if required.

Ebike service includes firmware check and update.

Ridge (level 2)

Revitalise your bike’s performance and ward off mechanical issues with a detailed clean, comprehensive lubrication and precise adjustments to all critical components.

Ebike service includes firmware check and update.

Ridge service includes

• Visual safety inspection & function check.
• Full component wear assessment and advisories provided.
• Frame, forks, rims and drivetrain cleaned.
• Front & rear derailleurs adjusted.
• Full brake check and adjustment, pad and braking surface wear checked. 
• Brake bubble bleeds for pad replacement included. Full brake bleeds charged at £20 per side if required, (normally £25.)
• Fitting of components as required in line with service. Drivetrain parts, brakes and tyres are included.
• Minor wheel true carried out (does not include spoke replacement.) 
• Lubrication of moving parts as required.
• Tyres inspected, sealant checked and replaced if required, tyre pressures set.
• Firmware check and update for e-bikes.
• Additional work due to frame design or e-bike componentry discussed with customer and charged per job.
• Components bolt checked and torqued.
• Road test.

Summit (level 3)

This comprehensive strip, deep clean and rebuild, ensures complete system performance and component longevity. Your bike will feel like new with a complete service of all components including bearing systems.

Ebike service includes firmware update, error report and battery health report.

* Full suspension frame bearing replacement, service of suspension components and service of E Bike components, are not included in this cost. Individual pricing for these specific jobs can be added to the Summit service cost, alternatively we offer Summit Packages for these bikes – see below. Non standard highly specific bikes may be subject to additional labour charges. Our technicians will advise on this prior to any work commencing.

Summit service includes

• Visual safety inspection & function check.
• Full component wear assessment and advisories provided.
• Frame, forks and rims cleaned.
• Full drivetrain degrease in our bioremediating parts washer.
• Cables replaced if required, front & rear derailleurs adjusted and set up.
• Full brake check and adjustment, pad and braking surface wear checked. Full brake bleeds included.
• Headset bearings inspected, cleaned, re-greased and replaced if required. 
• Bottom bracket bearings inspected, cleaned, re-greased and replaced if required. 
• Full wheel and hub servicing including true and tensioning of wheels and bearing replacement as required.
• Fitting of components as required in line with service.
• Lubrication of moving parts as required.
• Tyres inspected, sealant checked and replaced if required, tyre pressures set.
• Components bolts checked and torqued.
• Road test.

In addition

• E-Bike: As above, plus; Firmware update & error report, battery health report (Subject to system)
• FS MTB: As above, plus; Frame bearing replacement, fork lower leg service & rear shock air-can service (seals not included.)
• FS E-MTB: As above, plus; Frame bearing replacement, fork lower leg service & rear shock air-can service (seals not included.) Firmware update & error report, battery health report (Subject to system).
