The Slash 8 is an enduro mountain bike that rolls on fast 29er wheels and floats on plush RockShox suspension with SRAM's 12-speed GX Eagle handling drivetrain duties. An aluminium frame with fresh new tech and tough alloy wheels push this bike into the sweet spot for all-around rippers.
You want a big bike with big wheels to roll over big things and send big hits. You might enter some enduro races, but you mostly just want to rail sketchy descents faster than anyone else in your crew.
An aluminium frame built for harsh riding with a threaded bottom bracket, dual downtube guards, Knock Block 2.0 and 160 mm of travel with a RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ shock for long descents and 170 mm RockShox ZEB Select fork. Plus, a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain with an extra-low 52-tooth gear, Code R 4-piston brakes and completely tubeless Line Comp 30 wheels.
Slash 8 puts serious enduro performance within reach with smart choices on spec that won't empty your wallet. The aluminium frame, burly suspension and 1x12 Eagle drivetrain makes for a ride that's equally at home on the race course and on a big, out-in-the-wild session.
- A sleek internal storage compartment gives you a versatile spot to stow tools and gear
- We added a second down tube guard to better protect your frame from shuttle-related damage
- It's equally at home between the tape and in the rugged wild - Yes, the Slash is a racing bike, but it's ridiculously fun on gnarly trail rides, too
- New, removable Knock Block has a bigger steering angle to keep cables and hoses safe without sacrificing turning radius
- Wider seat tube, wider dropper - the 34.9 mm diameter post is stronger, more durable, and moves up and down faster
Internal Storage
Internal frame storage makes it easy to ditch the pack and still carry your ride essentials.
Active Braking Pivot
Active Braking Pivot allows our engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently. That means you get more confident control when you need it most.
Complete frame protection
Replaceable down tube guards protect the underside of your frame from rock strikes, trail debris and janky shuttle vehicles so you can forget about damage worries and focus on blasting the next run.
Rapid Drive 54 rear hub
With 54 points of engagement, Rapid Drive gives you nearly instant acceleration instead of a clunky lag when you step on the pedals. You get smooth, immediate power to blast out of corners and hammer through the rough stuff. And that extra pedal ratchet adds control that can make all the difference when tackling a tricky climb.
You almost forgot your pedals
This bike doesn't come with pedals because you'll have a better ride if you choose your own. Explore the pedal guide to find the best pedals for your riding style. Reach for flat pedals for simple versatility or go for clipless MTB pedals if you want control and efficiency.

You can often begin the application process by registering directly with the provider, often via their website. Bikes purchased via our website will be made ready for store collection. This can take a few days depending on where the bike is located. Some bikes will need to ship from a supplier but if this is the case the expected lead time for delivery to us will be displayed on our site. We also hold stock at an off-site storage location and transfer can take a day or so. When we have the bike it will be scheduled for assembly and safety checks with one of our CYTEC mechanics. Once this is complete we will send a final confirmation that the bike is ready for collection and you can then visit the store to pick it up.
With bike purchases, a member of our team will usually contact you prior to processing to check sizing and other details. For bikes in our stock the process from order to collection usually takes 3 or 4 working days but can be quicker sometimes or longer if the bike is shipping to us from a supplier.
