Peaty's Rim Tape

Peaty's Rim Tape 9m x 35mm, known as the Rim Job, is a unique, high-quality bicycle rim tape developed by professional cyclists, mechanics, and scientists. Its super high tensile strength makes it incredibly durable whilst the specially-formulated adhesive ensures a secure grip. Yet, despite the superior stickiness, it leaves minimal residue when removed.

The tape's perfect level of stretch and the large, rigid, recyclable core allows it to be applied to your rim with ease, contouring closely for an unparalleled fit. Struggle with locating the hole? The semi-transparent finish of the tape solves this, simply hold up your rim to a light source and the position will be clearly illuminated!

Available in four sizes - 21mm, 25mm, 30mm and 35mm, Peaty's Rim Tape caters for a variety of needs. A single 9 meter roll will comfortably cover multiple rims, ensuring you get the most out of your purchase.

Fitting Instructions:

1. First, remove your tyre and any old rim tape.
2. It's important to ensure your rim is clean and grease-free before you apply Peaty's Rim Tape.
3. Once the rim is dry, start applying the tape 10cm before the valve hole. Press firmly, smoothing out any trapped air as you go.
4. Keep tension as you run the tape around the rim, and allow for a 10cm overlap at the end.
5. Use a small spike to pierce the centre of the valve hole.
6. Remove the dust cap and push the valve through the hole.
7. Apply the lock ring tightly by hand, ensuring there are no air gaps.
8. Once the lock ring is in place, refit your tyre, add your Peaty's Tubeless Sealant and inflate.
9. You're all set to Ride!
