Ride in comfort and style – 2021

Posted on: 20/05/2021 at 4:34pm

The range of cycle clothing available today is bewildering, with specialist clothing now available to satisfy the needs of an increasingly diverse world of cycle disciplines. With garments to fit every rider and riding style the choosing can sometimes be a little daunting. The good news is that much of what is on offer is very versatile with many cycle garments that will perform well across a range of uses. This means road jerseys that can work equally well for mountain bike trail use or rainwear that’s good for any type of cycling from grave exploration to your everyday commute.

This year’s crop of new arrivals brings some new advances in materials. It’s good to see an increasing number of recycled fabrics appearing along with more environmentally friendly water repellence technologies appearing on rainwear. MTB protective guards offer more protection while getting lighter and more comfortable. The trend in popularity for more generally wearable cycle garments continues, with lots of options that look good on and off the bike but still offer great levels of performance and after a rather grim year its nice to see a splash or colour returning with some more eye-popping options to turn heads on the road and trail.

We have a great selection of new road gear too, with garments suitable for everything from everyday cycling to high performance racing.

This year’s Fox gear is also looking great with some great looking MTB kit including some great value rainwear and some nice looking casual wear.

You can find many of the items we stock in our Click and Collect store but we’re open 9-5pm Monday to Saturday and with browsing back on again, why not come and visit us, take a look and try on some of the new seasons gear.
