Fix a Flat clinics

This spring Summit Cycles are running a series of clinics aimed at giving novice or new cyclists the confidence they need to check a bike over before a ride and deal with some of more common issues that could occur while out cycling.

We hope to make riders feel more confident about bike set up, comfortable on the bike, and more relaxed whilst out on a ride.

Clinics will be hosted by Joe & Nathan, both of whom are experienced mechanics & cyclists, who between them have ridden, raced, commuted, and toured on pretty much every kind of bike under the sun.

There will be a maximum of 5 attendees per tutor, and we aim to provide a relaxed & open learning environment.

We’ll be covering.

· Pre-ride safety checks

· Basic pre-ride adjustments

· Basic set up & riding position

· Puncture repair (tubed & tubeless)

· Chain repair & gear adjustment

· Brake adjustment

· Bike cleaning and care

· Follow up Q&A

Dates – 13^th February, 27^th February & 13^th March

Time – 6.00pm – 8.00/8.30pm

Location – Summit Cycles Aberystwyth

Cost – There is no charge, but for those who are able we would really appreciate a £5.00 donation to Sustrans via our collection box.
