Procaliber 9.6 is a race-ready cross country hardtail. Its fast carbon frame boasts a trail-taming IsoSpeed decoupler, quick-rolling 29er wheels and a RockShox Recon Gold RL suspension fork to keep you fast and smooth over roots and rocks during your most demanding mountain bike rides.

You're more than a casual singletrack rider. You put in long miles on the trail, show up to race and want the speed, efficiency and light weight of a carbon cross-country bike with IsoSpeed.

A light and stiff carbon frame with the unique advantage of our trail-smoothing IsoSpeed, a 100 mm RockShox Recon Gold RL fork with a plush DebonAir spring and remote lockout, a lighter-weight wide-range Shimano SLX drivetrain, and tubeless 29" Bontrager Kovee Comp 23 wheels.

This bike can compete with the very best hardtails out there. You get fatigue-fighting IsoSpeed with component upgrades that save weight and give you better handling. If you want to rock the local race scene and rack up serious mileage, the Procaliber 9.6 is a great choice.
- The upgraded fork gives you a remote lockout, a more plush spring and a damper that gives you more control over the rough stuff.
- The IsoSpeed decoupler and carbon frame makes it ride smoother than any other hardtail, so your body doesn't get beaten up by trail chatter
- The solid XC group set will hold its own on the race course, but it's also going to hang tough through everyday training rides
- You get a Straight Shot downtube for extra-stiff, responsive handling without added weight and a Knock Block headset that protects against spinning bars and fork crowns
- The remote lockout lets you lock out the fork without taking your hands off the bars

Cycle to Work schemes are a great way to buy a bike and can offer a big saving on the price of your purchase but the ways that each individual scheme operate can vary so it is worth taking some time to find out exactly how your scheme works.

At Summit Cycles we aim to make our part of the process of buying by a Cycle to Work scheme as easy and as simple as possible. We can help you find the right bike and any accessories or extras you will need to make sure you are 100% ready to enjoy your purchased.

The best starting point is to speak with your human resources manager or the person responsible for administering the scheme your employer offers to find out who the provider is and the terms and conditions of the scheme they offer. You can often begin the application process by registering directly with the provider, often via their website. Many providers will ask us to provide a quote for the purchase so this is when you will need to speak to us to check eligibility and of course availability of your chosen bike but our staff can help you make the best choice, guiding you to the right bike and accessories and then raising the information you will need.

Processing can take a little time but often we can secure the bike you want with the payment of a deposit, refundable when the scheme provider issues confirmation certificate or payment.

Arrangements and order processing times on new bike purchases

Bikes purchased via our website will be made ready for store collection. This can take a few days depending on where the bike is located. Some bikes will need to ship from a supplier but if this is the case the expected lead time for delivery to us will be displayed on our site. We also hold stock at an off-site storage location and transfer can take a day or so. When we have the bike it will be scheduled for assembly and safety checks with one of our CYTEC mechanics. Once this is complete we will send a final confirmation that the bike is ready for collection and you can then visit the store to pick it up.

With bike purchases, a member of our team will usually contact you prior to processing to check sizing and other details. For bikes in our stock the process from order to collection usually takes 3 or 4 working days but can be quicker sometimes or longer if the bike is shipping to us from a supplier. A member of our team will be able to give you more information if required.
